What’s Going On?
Well we did it! Another successful carnival. (6th annual) A HUGE thank you to the staff that helped run the event; Makinzie Callaway, Beth Brendel, Nicole Wilkerson, Bailey Dirk, Natalie Sabot, Lindsay Sabot, Peggy and Karsten Peterson, Lisa Dirk, Jeff Jung, Penny Alexander, Paige Schlenker, Shannon Callaway, Dani Callaway and her friend Katelyn, Sara Ornelas, Charlie Varty, Nitosha Alyea, Allison Grote, Tammy Mesich, Jill Friesz, Jennica Davis, Patty Hahn and Michele Arnold.
Another thank you to Sams Club and Humpback Sally’s for their contribution to help with supplies. To Paige Schlenker and Family for their grant from Thrivent Financial. Lillian’s of downtown Bismarck for their donation of the purse and scarf for the raffle. Michelle Austin for the massage gift card that went with the spa gift basket donated by Michele and Steve Arnold along with all the other great raffle prizes donated by them and First Steps. Grace Quick for her donation of a mini photo session. Little Caesars for the amazing pizza. Beth Brendel and Penny Alexander for the Taco in a Bag and everyone who donated goods for the bake sale.
This year’s carnival brought in an amazing $1000.00 to be donated to Heavens Helpers Soup Cafe of Bismarck. Heavens Helpers is located on N. 23rd Street and is a non profit organization serving the Bismarck-Mandan community.
